Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my carpets take to dry?
Dry times typically range from 1 to 12 hours depending on the cleaning method used, carpet type, soil level, and airflow in your home. Steam cleaning generally takes a few hours while low-moisture cleaning is faster. Running fans or your air conditioning after the service speeds things up significantly. We will give you a realistic expectation before we leave every time.
What cleaning method do you use?
Our primary method is steam cleaning, also called hot water extraction. It is widely considered the most effective carpet cleaning method available and is recommended by most carpet manufacturers. Because we are not a franchise, we are not limited to a single method – for situations where low-moisture cleaning is more appropriate, such as certain carpet types or moisture-sensitive areas, we offer that as well. We use the right method for the job.
Is your cleaning process safe for kids, pets, and allergy sufferers?
Absolutely. We use family-safe, pet-safe, and eco-conscious products. Our low-moisture approach also reduces the risk of mold, mildew, and residue that can aggravate allergies.
What if a stain comes back after you leave?
Stains returning is extremely rare with our process. One of the biggest reasons customers choose us is because we eliminate the common issues that cause stains to reappear. If for any reason you are not satisfied, our 7-Day Reclean Guarantee has you covered.
Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?
Light items like chairs and small tables are included. We will clean around heavier furniture, or we can move it for a small fee. Just let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
It’s completely up to you. Many clients stay home, but as long as we have access and clear instructions, we are happy to clean while you are away.
What services do you offer besides carpet cleaning?
We provide professional cleaning for carpet, upholstery, rugs, tile and grout, hard surface floors, mattresses, dryer vents, and commercial spaces. Our goal is to be a trusted, one-stop surface cleaning provider.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve Dripping Springs, Austin, Bee Cave, Lakeway, and surrounding Hill Country communities. If you are unsure whether you are in our service area, just give us a call.
Are you insured and professionally certified?
Yes. True Renewal is fully insured and IICRC certified. We also invest in ongoing training to ensure every job is performed safely, professionally, and to industry standards.
How do I book and what forms of payment do you accept?
Booking is easy. You can call, text, or email us to get started. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, and checks.
